Part of Parkway Centennial Celebration the Swannanoa Valley Museum will offer a free hike featuring the history of Camp Alice and the Old Toll Road. Hike will start at the Ranger station and go down Commissary Trail to Camp Alice. Hikers can then go back to Camp Alice or continue on a more strenuous loop back to Ranger Station.
Community Contra dancing every Thursday night in Bryson Gym, Warren Wilson College. $5- lessons starts at 7:30, dance at 8pm. Lesson at 7:30, strongly recommended for beginners. Main dance at 8:00.
