The board certified physicians at non-profit, local Sisters of Mercy Urgent Care facilities provide care of non-life-threatening illnesses and injuries, without an appointment, at a fraction of the time and cost of an emergency room visit. Two of the five locations, at 1833 Hendersonville Road and 1201 Patton Avenue, are here for you 7 days a week, 362 days a year (only closed on Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas). Annually Sisters of Mercy Urgent Care (SOMUC) gives back through volunteerism and the provision of more than $3 million dollars in uncompensated and under-compensated care and saves the community an estimated $10 million more through ER avoidance.
