Eastside Business Park

Eastside Business Park, the former Drexel Furniture Manufacturing plant on old US 70 in Black Mountain, is being transformed from an empty 180,000 SF facility into a complex for small businesses, warehouse/distribution and light manufacturing. Following the proven success of Riverside Business Park, owners Bill Goacher, David Moore and Jay Stewart are working towards breathing new life once again into a large abandoned manufacturing building.

Several tenants have already leased space at Eastside Business Park. These include:
Kunkel Valve, a division of Tyco International; Cummings Engineering; Blue Ridge Imports and Woodworks Hardwood Flooring.

Sometime in early 2003, a new area of flex space will be ready for occupancy. All of the spaces will feature a drive-in door, access to a common loading dock, individual restroom facilities and tenant dictated ratio of office to warehouse/shop space. Minimum size will be 1800 SF.

Spaces ready for occupancy now range from an 1800 SF freestanding building with good natural light to almost 40,000 SF of warehouse/distribution space with ceiling heights ranging from 26'-28'.

Eastside Business Park is easily accessible from Interstate 40, just minutes from the interchange. There is ample on-site parking and a private wooded picnic area along the banks of a quiet stream open to any tenant's employees.
